Why should I join?

DSP is a family that will support you throughout your college years and beyond as you pave your own path to success. Our fraternity has the benefits of professional resources, a strong alumni network, community service opportunities, and friendships that will last a lifetime. There is no other organization on campus with people who are willing to do anything they can to see you succeed. Just come out to our recruitment events and see it for yourself!

Who can apply?

Students attending UNT who are business, economics, merchandising, hospitality, or sports management majors. You must have at least 2 semesters left before you graduate in order to apply.

How do I join?

Attend an informational and recruitment events! All details and zoom links will be posted on the Recruitment Schedule page!

Will I be required to attend anything in person this semester?

Yes, we will be in person!

What is pledging?

Pledging occurs after the recruitment process is complete and you have been selected as a potential brother of Delta Sigma Pi. It is a 4-5 week period where you will have the opportunity to learn about DSP’s 3 pillars, the Delta Epsilon chapter, and further develop your personal and professional skills. We have a no-tolerance policy for hazing.

What is a pledge class?

The group of people who pledge with you during the semester.

How many people are admitted each semester?

There is no set number. Pledge classes can range from 10-30 people. 

​

How much does it cost?

Dues are around $130-150 for your pledging semester and go down to about $110 each semester once you are initiated. Payment plans are available.
